We typically flush our water system twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Hydrant flushing is an important and necessary part of our efforts to deliver the safest and highest quality water possible. A clean water distribution system reduces taste and odor problems and results in better appearing water. Hydrant flushing also improves fire protection by testing water valves and hydrants.

Please avoid washing laundry while flushing is being performed in your neighborhood. If you observe discolored water during our flushing operations, please run your cold water for several minutes until the water clears. If the water does not clear do not hesitate to contact our office.
